EA shares edge up 2% despite analyst view pricing in $7.8B revenue from Madden NFL 27 launch

Electronic Arts' share price has risen in recent months, with a 30-day return of 2.19% and 90-day return of 4.44%. Total shareholder return stands at 30.77% over one year and 73.59% over three years. The company closed at $209.70, above the most followed fair value estimate of approximately $202.80 based on analyst modelling. This suggests the stock may be roughly 3% overvalued. EA reported annual revenue of $7.8 billion and net income of $1.1 billion. Bulls highlight the company's strategic focus on expanding live services and new game launches, including Skate and Battlefield. The relaunch of American Football and continued success of FC Mobile in fast-growing markets are expected to boost net bookings. However, pressure points remain, including softer Apex Legends net bookings and broader consumer spending risks.

EA, Ubisoft & Embark back NVIDIA's RTX Spark games.

EA, Ubisoft & Embark back NVIDIA's RTX Spark games. Wed, 26th Aug 2026 (Yesterday) Electronic Arts, Embark and Ubisoft will add support for RTX Spark in upcoming PC games, NVIDIA said. The move expands the list of publishers backing the platform ahead of its launch later this year. Support will cover several established and upcoming titles, including EA Sports F1 25 and Apex Legends from EA, Anno 117: Pax Romana from Ubisoft, and ARC Raiders and The Finals from Embark Studios. Those publishers join earlier supporters announced in May, including Krafton, NetEase, Riot Games and Xbox, as NVIDIA works to build a broader software base for RTX Spark before it reaches the market. RTX Spark is NVIDIA's Windows PC platform, combining RTX graphics features with local artificial intelligence functions and content creation tools. For games, it supports technologies including DLSS and Reflex. Game support NVIDIA said it is working with developers and hardware partners to ensure leading PC games run on RTX Spark devices. It is pitching the platform as a single-chip system for Windows PCs that can handle modern game graphics alongside other computing tasks. Support for mainstream games is likely to be a key test of adoption. New PC platforms often depend on publisher backing and technical integration to ensure performance, compatibility and online services work as expected at launch. Ubisoft highlighted image detail as one area of focus for its title on the new hardware. "We're excited to bring Anno 117: Pax Romana to a new generation of RTX-powered PCs," said Stéphane Jankowski, executive producer of Anno 117: Pax Romana at Ubisoft. "Our teams build the game to be seen wide: full districts, long sightlines, thousands of details at once. Seeing RTX Spark hold that level of fidelity from a single chip is genuinely impressive," Jankowski said. Anti-cheat focus NVIDIA also said it has been working with EA to add native support for EA Javelin Anticheat on RTX Spark. This will include EA multiplayer titles such as EA Sports F1 25. Anti-cheat systems have become a central part of online PC gaming, particularly for large multiplayer titles that run across different devices and operating systems. Their inclusion can be as important as graphics support because some games will not function fully without them. By addressing anti-cheat support alongside game compatibility, NVIDIA appears to be targeting a common obstacle for newer PC architectures and software environments. Multiplayer publishers typically require these systems to work reliably before opening access to broad player communities. Wider announcements Alongside the RTX Spark update, NVIDIA outlined a broader set of gaming product announcements tied to Gamescom. These include the release of DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, now available and using a second-generation transformer model to improve image quality in ray-traced and path-traced scenes. The technology replaces traditional denoisers with an AI model trained to reconstruct pixels in parts of a ray-traced frame where rays were not sampled. NVIDIA also said path tracing is being added to Control Resonant and 007 First Light. Other titles and services mentioned in the update included Gears of War: E-Day, which will include RTX Mega Geometry alongside ray tracing and DLSS 4.5, and cloud gaming service GeForce Now, which is adding new DLSS 4.5 controls and support for more devices. NVIDIA also said RTX Remix is continuing work on updated versions of older PC games, with a Painkiller RTX mod update available now and an RTX version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in development. The latest software and game support announcements show how NVIDIA is trying to expand the use of RTX features across both local and cloud-based PC gaming. The addition of publisher support, anti-cheat integration and image processing updates suggests it is building the practical software framework RTX Spark devices need to run mainstream titles from launch.
